Removal of steering wheel

Hi guys. Does anyone know how to remove a steering wheel with an airbag? Specifically for a 2002 100 series.

I need step by step instructions.

Mermon, you own a Land Cruiser. That means you are a resourceful individual! The 02 and 04 will be very similar, the 04 manual is available on this site.

Pop off left and right plastic panels on the steering wheel. The right one is by the cruise control stalk.

Behind each panel is a star head bolt that holds the airbag on. Unbolt those.

Airbag tilts out.

Unplug wires.

Make sure clockspring is centered.

Undo main center nut by holding steering wheel and torqueing with breaker bar in other hand.

Yank steering wheel at 12 and 6 o clock until it pops off.

Tada!
