So I don't break the switch or holder, what is the trick to removing the switch from the driver's door holder? Do I need to remove the door panel 1st?

Need to replace switch but need to take it out first before going to junkyard. Cruiser Dan posted that a 89 - 94 camry switch will replace my switch. The 2 back windows do not operate from the master.

I pried lightly on the front edge of mine and it came right up. Disconnected the plug on the back and it was out.

I bought the new switch recommended on here to fix my similar issue of rear windows not working. New switch, same old problem. Hopefully, you have more success than I did.

Thanks Ken702...

My rear windows will sort of work with the rear switches... but, they have to be "helped" back up. It is a pain. So I think they work. The front switch does not control them at all so thought I would replace. A junkyard camry switch is $35. Thought it was worth a shot. Maybe I should try the silicone route first to get them to run smoother first.

I found this thread and then a revived thread after my post also with a door panel removal.
