Probably should be posting this in outfitting, but it's only for 80s so just fyi.

Matco Tools has a new crank bolt removal tool. Part number MST6430. It is pricey (list 79.95) but it supposedly makes removal and reinstallation of the crank bolt much easier. FWIW, mine came off with the IR Thunder Gun but I know several folks here have had issues trying to get this off during supercharger install.

I get some goofy free trade magazine every month, why I don't know, but it had it listed in there including the 4.5. Intresting the site doesn't have it, but then again I'd just get a better impact if I needed one.

I bought this handle and adapter from OTC to do mine. I paid about $80 for the set back in 2000. With this, a monster breaker bar and the big socket, she comes loose easily and helps get that 295 ft lbs ( if I remember right) back on the new bolt. Handle is part# 09330-00021 and pulley attachment is 09213-58012A-01, both from OTC SPX.

Where are yall finding torque wrenches that do 300 ft-lbs? I can figure out how to get that fawker off, just getting it torqued up is the problem. (I really need to replace my front main seal)

The jumbo 3/4" drive ones on eBay for $40-50 will suffice. Once you get your right leg to make it click at 300, you'll forever know what that feels like and won't even need the wrench again.
