Remote start possible?

Guys: My wife has asked me to put a remote starter in her 2000 TLC. Is this possible given the transponder key? Any help is appreciated. Mark

I have remote start in my '98. The installers have a way of working around the transponder issue.

It is very possible.I install a full alarm on my 98LC Windows up/down and vent and also remote start.For the remote start DEI has a bypass box 505u that you put a key in the box and then install a loop from the box over the ignition close to the key hole.So i took one of my spare key and shave the key clean just a straight metal,but the box is hidden.
I am using all Clifford.
