Reinstalling vent louver

Hi everyone
Can someone post a few pics of how the vent louver should look once installed.
I’m pretty sure it goes under the window frame up top and then comes over the window frame on the bottom

You are correct. They need to tuck under the window weatherstrip at the top and then near the bottom, they end up on top of the weatherstrip as they meet the belt moulding. I usually have to to use a plastic bike tire lever or similar to pull the weatherstrip back on top after installing these. If you do this, use lubricant and slide/work the lip on top.

Also, it looks like you need to remove the old clip gasket still stuck on your upper hole on the body. These gaskets are preinstalled on the new clips. Don’t stack on the old to help prevent leaks!

I would think that it protects the rubber flaps from the sun and gives the 80 a nice finished look.
