Selling 1974 original FJ40 with removable hard top. We want to sell it soon as we have home projects that we need to get done in this space this Summer. It has been stored under cover in our barn. It sat for about 7 years without use, then in 2010 we got it running in less than a day by putting in a new battery, spark plugs, and some carborator cleaner. We know the fuel lines and gas tank should be replaced, that may be all it takes. New baby, too little time to restore it, looking to give it a new home and put money into something more "family-friendly." I made a photobucket account with pictures of it where it is (currently in a bay blocked by a dog kennel). If you need more photos, I can pull it out. It is all original, was given some diamond plate panels custom cut for it as a gift years ago and haven't even put those on. 107 miles, tires in good shape even. Located in Idaho, you pick it up. I know, right?!? Starting to get some serious interest now from a few folks, but no cash yet. We are ready to move it, if you are interested don't hesitate, first reasonable cash takes it!
The rust over the rear wheels... Looks to be a little worse than surface rust. Is it rusted through or just how it looks in the pics?

Still available! We had a buyer at $6,000 and a lot of interest since the sale began, but we honored his commitment to buy and just yesterday he could not come up with the cash to buy, so it is still available. We have received a lot of private messages on this since that sale was underway, so I am trying to respond today to everyone individually to let them know it is now available again. We really inspected the back cargo/ seat area and found 3 small places where it was rusted through. There are a couple small spots where the rear seats are that it is rusted through to the inside of the wheel well and one spot on the floor board in the rear. No through holes on the visible exterior anywhere, just those few on the inside of wheel well and the one on the undercarriage in the back.
