I am looking as well. .
I end up buying a brand new transfer case from Lexus for $2800. If you get a rebuild or from a junk yard they only give you 90 days warranty and that doesn't even cover labor. I looked at all the options and after much deliberation I decided to spend $2800 on new one instead of $1400 - $1700 on the used one.

Interesting. . What problems were you having with yours? I'm not having any issues with mine, but I want to get a used one and have a local pro rebuild. I've been researching online about have parts treated with cryogenic to give a longer life span. This is my only vehicle so I can't just take mine off though.

In the first gear it was making a noise like chain saw's chain is off and chain was about to jump out of a transmission. It was fine after the first gear. Speaking with the Lexus service tech, he said this was an issue on 2003-2009 GX470 and that's why Lexus sells brand new transfer cases for these vehicles. Someone local actually gave me an estimate of $3300 for the rebuild of TC and both axles but I didn't wanted to replace axles when there are no leaks and no problems.
