I recently just picked up a new project car: 1985 Fj60. I am really enjoying driving it (although I do miss the comfort of my 80 that is now in temporary storage) however, I need to get some body work done on it. It only has rust in the usual spots on the rear wheel wells. (should I let a body shop handle this or order the rust kit like on Cool Cruisers and weld in a new patch?) The goal of this project is to fix it up in the most cost effective way. I am looking to get rid of the rust and get a new paint job on it in the same color. So my question is has anybody had any good experience with any body shop?
