Texas, of course.
I used to have a 80 Toyota P/U that I had my knuckles cut off and rewelded F450 knuckles back on only to get rid of the birfield problem. That worked fine for the rockcrawling stuff. Now, what I'm thinking is I might lift my Land Cruiser 6inches and everyone is running DC shafts with complaints of mild vibrations. I'm thinking about clocking my stock knuckes for daily driving purposes. Anyone done one??

This is called a "cut'n turn" in land cruiser circles.

It is not a common practice with 80 series cruisers. I think it should be.

Chances are you would not even need a DC shaft if you turned your knuckles to get an optimal caster angle and had the pinion perfectly parallel to the transfer case output.

I daily drive and tow with my 80 with about 5" of lift. Instead of fawkin around with the knuckles or DC driveshafts, I converted mine to 2wd. No vibration at all and 2 better MPG.

I'm going to keep mine 4wd since I plan on wheeling it but not hardcore like the truck. I don't think the :princess: would handle it too well if I started coming home w/ some new racing stripes. Reread your sig and see where yours is converted to part time 4wd. Did you use the kit from Mark's? If I decide to cut my knuckles the good thing is I'll be using the stock parts. No custom axles,u-joints,etc. The knuckle mod on the truck was about $3,000. By doing the stock axle on the LC I can do it free for the most part. Just my time and labor.

I used the Slee part time kit... I don't know if it works for the 91-92 models.
