The rear window wiper isn't working in my 60. Is there an easy way to check if the motor in it is working with a multimeter? Or to check the plug that comes off the main wire harness? It's 24v.

Have it apart right now and hoping to track down what the problem is. From a quick look inside, the gears move inside when the part that rotates the wiper back and forth is toggled....so they arnt locked up at all.

Is it either the motor is burned out or problem on the wire harness? Or someting else? Thanks for any advice.

Not sure about 24v circuit but check wiring diagram for common wire and ground wire to check for resistance (ohms). Do you have a wiper relay, might want to check it. When mounted onto hatch do you have a good ground for the motor and 24v at the plug?

Since you have a multimeter check power to the connector and ground when on, check your fuses too.

Have you checked the brushes? Do that or take it to a auto or marine electric place and get them to check for you. If the brushes are worn out, the motor won't go. Easy fix...
