Cant get the rear wiper arm off of the stud. I removed the 10mm nut tried pb blaster tried tapping it while pulling on it and tried prying underneath the end of the arm (while trying not to shatter the rear window) I broke the mounting area for the blade which is why I need to remove the arm. I tried an otc brand wiper arm removal tool but the shape of the arm doesn't allow the tool to sit lined up with the end of the wiper post. HELP!!!

More penetrating oil and patience. This is another rust prone area on the 200, refer to pic.

I used a tie rod puller, it made easy work of it.

Amazon product ASIN B000F5LJ3M
After the new window was installed, I cleaned up the area with a wire brush, and coated it with grease before reinstalling the wiper arm.

HTH.

Worked for me. Pic of the tie rod puller on amazon.

Does the tie rod puller allow more room to get that hooked part under the arm? I ordered a battery terminal puller/ wiper arm remover that uses 2 claws (before I saw about the tie rod puller) hopefully that will get it off. I was surprised as this lx has lived it's 9 years in Texas (new to me as of 1 week ago). It snowed the day it got delivered to me here in nj. Probably it's 1st snow. I just sold my 2000 100 series with 320k (perfect mechanical CONDITION but couple holes in the frame). The place I got my 2010 lx570 from gave me 3500 for the cruiser and it now lives down in Mississippi area (where the dealer is located) I will sorely miss it but have to admit I am loving the lx570 right now.
