I've searched all I know how and can't find a answer.. I had a blockage at my rear window nozzle and after cleaning with a needle , warm water etc.. and still not clearing it, i messed up and pulled the short section of hose off.. I can't see how to pull the sprayer off the lift gate , I need to pull it and clean and reinstall the hose, I don't see any real access from behind and have tried twisting it out like a bulb to no avail .... I hate to tear anything up any help here is appreciated Thanks

No one ??

I had my third brake light out about a week ago which requires pulling that upper portion of interior hatch trim. It's possible that there are access holes under that trim, but I honestly don't remember.

You can pull the trim by hand in under a minute, but be aware that the clips on the tops need to be pulled outward and the clips on the vertical section pull inwards (probably won't make much sense until you do it).

Good luck.

Thanks. I tried that but no access was found. 'Preciate the reply

Well I found this pic .. I hope that's the right one. Looks like it snaps in ... I pried on it some trying to pop it out but no go.. Guess I'll order a new one before I get to aggressive cause we all know where that leads or at least in my case it does.

Well that lasted 10 minutes. one cold one down and figured what the heck .... Took a dental pick and pulled the gasket over it to get to it better , found a couple notches in the sheet metal for the "wedges" to fit in but when lined up it still wouldn't pull out , so a small screw driver pried in the notch and pushed in the "wedge" and I was able to get one side free, a little force and wiggling and the other popped out. SWEET.. Ok now to clean the goo out of it and the hose and I should have a good working rear washer .... I had already put a long piece of hose on the fitting under the back window frame and purged the line of gunk using the washer pump

Edit : soaked the nozzle in hot soapy water oveernight ,after running a wire in all the openings, used a syringe to force water into it which unclogged it nicely, finished up with a couple hits of canned air, and ready for re install ...

This is just the post I was looking for.
My rear sprayer is clogged, I think I might just replace the nozzle. Were you able to access the tabs from the inside? Or did you only work it from the outside?

Worked from the outside , take a dental pick or something and pull the gasket up over the nozzle to give ya a space to work. You can depress one of the "wedges" with a small screwdriver and work it out from there. Good luck and post up if you find a better way or can get better pics

Hi, I made a video showing how to remove the rear nozzle. Its easy once you know what to use and how to do it.

You just have to use a wedge (preferable plastic) at the bottom of the nozzle from the top and the bottom and push the wedge into the nozzle to dislodge. Here's a video of how I did it.
