So Ive been wanting to get an ARB rear bumper with the tire carrier for the longest time but i just dont have enough money for one right now; however, i would still like to be able to carry the spare on the back. Does anyone know of anyone who makes just a tire carrier without a whole bumper replacement? Or has anyone fabricated one that could explain how they attached it?

Not sure how much the ARB rear bumper is but there is a group buy for BIOR and a rear with a tire carrier would be around 1300 depending on options. Not sure if this helps but thought I would mention it, most of the tire only carriers that I have seen bolt directly onto the truck and would require drilling I believe.

You can source a non-US rear tire carrier, it will work fine. You do however need to reinforce the body panels so the carrier doesn't tear the fender and fall off going down the highway.

Buy a roof rack and throw the spare up there for now.:hillbilly::beer:

SOR sells a tire carrier only for the 100. However, if your long term plan is a full rear bumper with tire carrier, then this route will cost more in the end. Better to just save up for what you want.

Whatever size tire you are running will fit underneath, leave it there until you can buy a complete bumper. What's the rush? Don't waste your money.
