Hey so I had to put a s*** ton of sod in my 2003 lc the other day.( I'm a city boy so for those of you that keep your truck spotless you can imagine how anxious i was about all the dirt). Anyways, I noticed when everything was loaded the rear was compressed quite a bit and that's when I became concerned. I am about to install my sub stage in my back cargo area. I anticipate the weight including equipment and enclosure to be about 200-300 pounds.

My question - Could I replace the factory coils and use ome 2860's to offset this constant rear load increase. My shocks are Bilstein 4600's all around.

Thanks,

Bobby

If you're not going to be building too heavy, I'd opt for air bags.

I just installed some over the weekend

I had OME 865's installed and due to the higher spring rate gave me about 1.5" lift without any noticeable sag fully loaded with camping gear. Cranked T bars about 1" in front to improve the stance. Love the way it sits now.
