I have a 2000 cruiser with 238k. I have new toyota shocks all around. I replaced bilsteins. The bilsteins broke on the driver rear and I like the ride better with toyota shocks. My question is when I have 2 people in the rear seat I am getting bottoming even when I go fairly slow over speed bumps. The weight of the 2 people is 300 lbs. Does anyone think replacing the rear springs with new toyota ones will solve my bottoming? Rides great with no load in rear. I don't want to lift this cruiser anymore than stock height. Thanks

it may also be time to adjust the front suspension height (torsion bars)...an easy task. So not to worry about new OEM springs being a little taller. After all you'll be returning it to stock original height...

My '06, with 85k does this too - same scenario. I think the 100s are just "softer" than previous Land Cruisers. I'm starting to think about springs.
