Hello everyone,
I have a 1999 LX470 with a Sony AX-3200 head unit and a Kenwood KAC-D3104 amp that was installed by the previous owner. It had the nakamichi audio system originally if that matters. Since I bought the car, the rear sub has never worked. I’m not very familiar with car audio, but I’m wondering if the previous installation could have bypassed the rear sub, or if the sub just doesn’t work.
Tomorrow i’m going to replace the sub with a Skar Audio EVL-65 D4 6.5 which seems to be popular on here just to see if the nakamichi sub just doesn’t work.
Could anyone tell me if it looks like the sub was not wired to the amp? Could those two green/blue wires be for the sub, there was also two purple wires that are not connected that can’t be seen in the picture
