Hey All

Did the full Bilstein system, 3 clip front, standard Bilstein springs rear, about a year ago.

Truck was empty, suspension was perfect, perfect rake, etc…

Now I got my drawers, fridge and some tools and spares finally setup and packed

Lost close to an inch in the rear with sag/weight

I got a set of OME 2721 ahead of time for this reason, and they’re in the garage

But now I’m curious if this is best option.

@sdnative is this the setup you’re running?

Anyone else have feedback on their setups with 2721s?

@amitbh234 is in the same boat as me

Thanks

I run the Bilstein springs in the front with OME 2721s on the rear and they sag to about level with the rear full of gear and a 4 bike rack on the back. My fronts are on the lowest perch. They sit with a little rake unloaded.
Should be about perfect for you. In this pic I have a week's worth of gear for 4, plus about 250lbs of bikes/rack hanging off the back.

Swapping rear springs takes about 1-2 hours max with a floor jack, so I'd throw them in and see what you think.

Roger

Thats exactly what i was looking for! Thank you sir!

Sweet rig and color combo

Yes that is my setup. I can't remember if I ever had the Bilstein rear springs or not. But I had the OME 2720 initially but needed more lift in the back so swapped with 2721.

These pics are with the truck loaded with camping gear, minus about 250lbs of water/fuel. I think the lowest perch up front, and 2721 in the back.
