I was thinking of adding this to my other thread about OME shock size (https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/why-is-my-new-ome-shock-the-same-as-my-stock-shock.871978/) but thought it might merit it's own thread.
I've since installed my springs with and educated guess based on Jeep lifts I've installed with the taller spring installed on the passenger side.
Pair of OME rear 2.5" spring pair in a box together brand new from Slee.
One is just shy of 3/4" of taller than the other.
In a Jeep this is quite normal in some models as the torque in the rear end isn't distributed evenly.
In our 100's the rear diff seems to been centered in the rear axle, so not sure this theory can be applied. But clearly there is a difference, maybe not an effective photo but in person it's quite obvious.
My question is, did I miss an instruction paper in the box? Did I make the right guess in installing the taller one on the passenger side?
Thanks all.
