Why is my new OME shock the same as my stock shock?

Installing a 2.5" medium lift with diff drop and upper control arms from Slee this weekend, everything going pretty well. Rear springs/shocks done, easy peasy. Working on front end, diff drop and upper control arms in. Both old torsion bars out without too much BFH. Noticed when I unboxed the new OME shocks for the front that they are the same length as my stock shocks fully extended. These aren't the original Toyota shocks so perhaps they are longer than OE; not sure.
I guess my main concern is that I perhaps got the wrong OME shocks; I'd hate to not be able to take full advantage of my new TBars/control arms/dropped diff setup because of short shocks.
Thanks in advance. Pic attached.

OME and OEM socks are not that much different due to torsion bar lifts not increasing travel unless you change control arms. You are only changing where in the travel range the neutral ride height is.

The length of the shock doesn't really matter in small lifts like this. At least not THAT much. What matters is the compression and rebound rate. The shock absorber doesn't hold the weight of your vehicle, it ABSORBS bumps. So even if you replaced the shock with a longer one it would only change your ride height by a minute amount if any at all.

Thanks for the reply's everyone. Got the lift finished up, love it so far. Headed to the alignment shop this week to dial in those new UCA's.
