HELP!!! rear main replacement

my rear main on my 60 was leaking so i dropped the tranny, took out the clutch and flywheel and everything, and have the rear main exposed. i'm stuck on how to get the seal out though. i took out the two bolts that appear to hold the plate on, but when i removed them the thing won't come out. do i need a puller of some sort or do i just have to pry it off? thanks for any help.

Puller's probably going to be easiest.
But the proper size slotted screwdriver and some prying should dislodge it. Just be careful
not to mark/scratch up the bore or the new one will be hell going in.
I'm about to find out if this works on the front main seal. :)

okay- i feel dumb. if anybody ever has the same question about this, just pry it out with a slotted screwdriver. it was easy!

WEll you have to drop the trany, take out the clutch and flywheel and then you are there.
