It was indeed the rotor rubbing against the lower part (not dust shield). It was happening on both sides but the drivers side was significant. I fixed it by bending the section back slightly, I also used a grinder to take out the small lip in the metal.

Not sure how this happened, maybe I bent them doing the work? Also possible the Brembo rotors are slightly different than the DBA's/OEM?

All I hate to post a new thread for another mysterious noise but I am extremely frustrated and need help to figure out the next test steps.

Issue:
Severe rotational grinding only when turning and/or swerving at speeds over 15mph. More severe on drivers side when turning Right. Sound originally seemed to be on drivers side only but can also hear on passenger now. Sound was also present when driving mild offroad with off camber lean to drivers side. Crappy video included, try to ignore wind noise sound is present :05 to :06.

Basics:
2006 LX
114k miles
Modified - 35's with AHC lift full armor (See build thread for full details)

Recent History:
New front brakes/pads - bearing repacked (Re-Checked front bearings, no play and force is correct)
New Rear brakes/pads - Calipers rebuilt
New Parking brake shoes with hardware

Tests Performed with no change with Issue:
- Front brakes/bearings checked; had someone sit in back of truck and confirm sound is from rear
- All basics tests of rear brakes done; checked bolts, calipers, rotors, and pads - nothing abnormal nothing physically touching or loose
- Jacked up and offset rear axle (both sides) and spun wheels - no noise
- Disconnected parking brake cable at brakes (Just in case something was pulling on cable)
- Removed all parking brake components on drivers side
- Removed and relocated drivers side rear brake caliper (I secured on axle with wood between pads and test drove)
- Checked for play in rear axle both sides; no up and down play, some rotational play, no in/out play
- Diff fluid checked, was a bit low added some with no change.

So any suggestions to what to try next? Pull drive shaft? Pull axles?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and if anyone is local and whats to lend a hand I have a fridge full of beer.

We had something similar on our 100. There was a very small area on the brake backing plate on the DS that would rub the rotor and make a grinding noise only when turning left at speeds over ~10mph. We did a little grinding on the backing plate and the noise went away.

Just another area to investigate

Thanks for the suggestion I took a more detailed look. Cleaned and painted the covers, before and after pictures below I don't see anything.
