i bouht a hardtop and front doors and rear doors from a 1970 fj i put the front doors on no problem i havent put the top on yet but i think it will fit. by the way it goes on a 76 the rear doors are 2 half doors on the bottom and a liftgate on top . on the 76 there are no holes on the botton for 2 half doors there are 2 holes on each side of the back for some kind of hinge i asume i dont know what the options for back doors were in 76 but i like to keep it as original as i can. there are 2 holes for screws on the
bottom of the tub to the left of the center

You have a 76 Tub, it came with Ambi doors, hence the single set of hinge holes in the tub, you bought an earlier top with the lift hatch and swing gates, you can make it all work but you have to drill holes in the tub, I would also suspect that your driver and passenger doors dont latch ( unless some PO retro fitted the early catch to your later tub), you can make it all work but it takes a bit of McGyver.

Search is your friend, this has been discussed many times:cheers:

I am going to say that the split gates ended around 74 although I am not entirely certain, sometime in 75 seems to be the dividing line that makes the change to ambi doors but there are different models that went to different countries that have variations.
There are guys on this forum that have much more knowledge than I do.
Dont be afraid to ask questions, and post pics, everybody loves them.

Go to the Specter Off Road web site, get yourself a catalog or look at the one on the site, it has a pretty comprehensive body identification section as well as blow ups of just about everything, then hook up with some of the vendors on your side of the States, you will get plenty of help.
