I have a set of proffitt's rear disc brake brackets that I am wanting to install tomorrow but I'm not sure what size hardware I'll need. For some reason I thought that I knew the size from memory and bought 3/8"x1.25"x24 grade 8 hardware but that wasn't correct. I am wanting to do this tomorrow so I can't call proffitt's. Does anyone know what size I need? Many thanks in advance!

So a 3/8" bolt does not fit through the caliper bracket?

The bolts could be used but the brackets have been treaded so why not use them. The 3/8" hardware is slightly smaller than the holes.

So the mounting holes for the caliper bracket to the axle housing are threaded holes?
