Do you have to remove the caliper to remove the rear brake pads?

Yes its much easier, remember to take the cap off the resivior and suck a little fluid out with a turkey baster.
 
Thanks. Our other car does not require the caliper to be removed to replace the rear pads.
 
Yes, you do have to take the caliper off for the rear, but not for the front.
 
Just to be clear you need to remove the caliper with the piston, not the holder that holds the pads. it does not take that long. later robbie
 
As my daughter says, "Daddy, you have squekey brakes". I need to get the pads replaced before I ruin my rotors.
