I think Jason at TT had designed a set of billet control arms similar to the ICON ones. The ICON arms are all bling IMO- DOM tube seems like a better idea if youre sliding over rocks & stuff

Yup, they are just bling. DOM is the way to go.

For anyone who finds this thread in the future, these are the correct answers. The aluminum Icon LCAs were a real pain in the butt. So even at the same price, I would go with the DOM tubing LCAs over the aluminum. With the aluminum LCAs being 2x the price, the answer just becomes easier. My biggest problem I ran into with the aluminum LCAs was how much bigger they are than the tubing. Icon puts delrin sliders on the LCAs because of this. They got really torn up quickly. The heim joint on the LCA is a bad decision for a street truck too as it was constantly squeaking.
