REars? or fronts.. I know front innners are done and awesome.. Rears.. We need rears.. Show me the booty..

rears actually..

my one friend just put a rear full float, rear hubs, and rear disc setup on his toy ifs rear axle under his zuk, kit was from front range, but he had bobby long make a pair of custom axles for him for like $400 i think, he wanted his axles to be guaranteed and front range wouldnt guarantee their axles

suweet.. If it's a short it'll fit both 40 and 60 and 55.. If it's a long. .Well, that's the one our club keeps on breakin.. Dang Xmas gettin in the way of ponying up for all my cool parts!

How much stronger are these axles compared to the stock ones? Thanks.

/td

It is hard to throw a number at it but here are the main differences.
-material (4340 compared the the 1541 typematerial)
-design (just take a look at a stock rear)

When designing a rear semi float axle there are 2 different things happening that you have to take into consideration for. There is the obvios torsional load and then there is the not so obvious bending load applied in the bearing area. Basically what you have here (POLY AXLE) is the strongest possible design to appease both types of loads the axle sees.

There is also another problem here that is impossible to fix. The short side axle is short. Therefore, there is less material/area to displace the torsional load of the axle. We did the best we could under the exsisting parameters.

Did anyone ever end up getting a set of these for the rear of the 80? I waited as long as i could then i put in a used oem shaft so i could at least wheel......
