I am ready to install my clutch while doing a 3 spd to 4 spd conversion. Does any one know the correct pressure plate bolt size??? The bolts from the 3 spd are of different lengths but the do thread in a little bit then tighten up rapidly. I'm concerned because the 3pd pressure plate is thicker. ACE is still open and I can go get grade 8.8 bolts now. Thanks

Find some 10.9s if you are purchasing new hardware.

8mmx1.25x15mm long should be fine.

Blue locktite is your friend.

Did you have the flywheel resurfaced?

Did they cut BOTH surfaces? It should have a step in the flywheel.

Thanks Poser. Used 10.9-16mm with hardened lock washers and locktite blue. Flywheel was resurfaced and it has a step done by NAPA. It is all installed!! Tomorrow 4spd and transfer go in. Still need a pic of pto spacer in transfer. I've seen it here on MUD. Probably will have to cut the tunnel for the transfer shifter. Thanks again.
