So I replaced the alternator on a 63 tbird and I put all of the wires where they're supposed to go (or at least where they came from) and the dash light was still on, so I replaced the voltage regulator and the light is still on. Checking the battery voltage while the engine is off I get 12v and with the engine running I get 12v so it's not charging.
Any ideas on what I should check, fix, look at or a diagram?
The way I have the alternator wired up is:
Big black wire to the red terminal batt on alt.
Black and red wire to terminal called FLD
small black to GND
small black with white ends to Black terminal on alt
Thanks in advance
*EDIT* Got It! Never Mind
