Been on the look out for a real waterproof outlet to mount on the outside of my trailer and I finally found one.

The only down side is the outlet is only rated only 10amps maybe. This may only be because of the included 36" of wire that comes with the outlet. Super tight fit on the outlets cover and seems to have a high quality socket.

If you order one for yourself, add one for me.

I picked up a few already knowing someone else might be interested. I do prefer the Blue Sea outlet due to the higher amperage rating but I felt this was a better choice for mounting outside in the elements. With that said if you are still interested I will put one aside.

Is it only waterproof when not in use?

 It was designed for motorcycles and waterproof maybe not be the best description. Protection from the outside elements that one may encounter during off road travel in various weather conditions when not in use maybe a better description.:rolleyes :<This is where the set up excels above other outlet options. If ones needs are inside I would stay with Blue Sea due to higher amperage rating, locking design, and proven history.
