I'm trying to install a brake controller today and I can't seem to find a grommet in the firewall with enough room to fit a couple extra wires. Anyone on here today done this? Didn't think this would be the difficult part.

Thanks

Seem to remember using one on drivers side, up high. Sam location that water line to rear wiper uses.

There is one on the passenger side and be sure not to pull it loose. You will never get it back on and I made that mistake. Lots of silicone sealant to make water proof again. Easy to puncture a hole smaller than then wire you are using. Use some sort of plastic punch and be sure not to score, cut , scrap the other wires. Put a No. 2 battery cable, and other wires through mine without issues.

To quote "ntsaint" there is also one on the drivers side that will do just as well.

Thanks guys. I was trying to get 2 12 gauge wires through the same hole as the water line like ntsaint said but they just would not fit. In the end I just used the pointy wire tester and poked a small hole in the larger rubber grommet. I was trying to avoid this but the hole closed back up nice and tight around the wires.
