Um... Wrench happy today starting on my audio upgrade. But while I am striping down, found this box underneath center console. Anyone knows what is it and the black little box next to it? Perhaps Lexus link?

Crap, you got the government model LX....that device is a one way mic that the CIA uses to record conversations. Remove it asap, but be prepared for the Feds to show up once they realize it's been cut off. Just say the car was stolen....













All joking aside, I'm not entirely sure what it is. Perhaps some component from the factory Audio/Nav unit? Sure doesn't look like an amp...

I think you might be close with your observation Fuzz, but (pun intended) from where it's located, my guess is that a secret study is being done on flatulation.


Seriously, since I can't afford one of those uppity Lexus's, I really couldn't tell you what that is.
