Real time help - OME shock bushings and washers (1 Viewer)

Installing new rear shocks, what's the order of washers and bushings? Didn't come with any documentation.




This is how I assumed it goes from a couple other pictures, but the metal on metal at the bottom bushing seems weird... Thanks

I feel like you are missing a washer in that picture. The rubber bushings should be "sandwiched" by a metal washer on each side is my recollection....however that was a long time ago. That gap shown in your picture between the bushings is where the mount on the LC goes.

I think the smaller washer goes on the top side, not the bottom. Or you're missing the the 4th one.

I thought the fourth one went between the bottom bushing and nut.

The FSM says to replace them. Your call. I replaced them for the $3.

Yeah I'll source some new ones. Need to get the wheels back on first though haha. The different size nuts for the shocks posts threw a wrench in works.

Were the bushings and washers not in a bag? The generally ship in a bag withing the box and the bag has the install instructions & specs. Regardless it looks like you have it addressed

Yeah they were in bags but there was nothing printed on them.

Hmmm, can't say I've every seen that. If you still need a hand let me know and I could likely scan a bag.

Can you scan a bag and post it on mud in this thread? That way the next guy that gets yelled at to "search, there already is a thread about this" can find the info?
