Real Time Help Needed: uncut key stuck in ignition

I decided to try and program another key (this time uncut) to my 2005. After pulling the key out several times in the programming process, the key is now stuck. I can pull it out almost to the end, but something in the ignition key slot is grabbing the end of the uncut key. I know you all can't help me from feeling like an idiot, but does anyone have a suggestion on getting the key out? Moving the steering wheel (now locked), pushing the shift lever up to park, and a thin screw driver did not get the key out.

apply pressure to key by pulling with pointy nose pliers while tapping lock body lightly with a brass drift .there is a you tube video that shows how good luck
