Thought I'd ask this over here; I'm about to pull the crank pulley off my FZJ-80 and want to have the crank key in the up position when I do so as not to accidentally bump it and have it drop inside the timing cover (read somewhere that someone did that). I think when the timing mark is at the bottom the key is at the top, does that sound correct??

Edit: for those that wonder what the answer was, I pulled the crank pulley carefully and with the timing mark almost at the bottom the key was almost at the top, not exactly 180 degrees across from each other, more like 150-160 degrees, like 5 o'clock and 12 o'clock looking from below and behind the crank, FWIW. What I don't know is whether all 1FZFE engines are set up the same way or not.
