It was in my "WTB" thread looking for a 1995-1997 with under 150K.
"BTW, the one in Newton is a great truck. If there's a DIY'er on here, it's a solid truck with a few issues that the owner has listed. Everything on it works and it's super clean. Unfortunately, I don't have time right now to DIY, so I'd have to pay somebody to fix the Y-pipe/#1 cat and rear diff, so it'd be quite pricey. Also, my OCD would probably make me replace the tires, another few hundred. The owner is an honest guy too. I'd buy this truck, but based on the work it needs, the owner and I just couldn't reach a deal. "
Honestly, I'm planning on bidding on the truck and I have a standing offer to the owner on the truck. We're not far apart, but I can't go up more and he won't come down. I can totally understand he wants top dollar for the truck, it's a nice truck. I wish I had more time to DIY so I could raise my bid for the truck a bit, but I just don't have the time. Time = money and my kid/work just takes too much of mine to have time to get under a truck for any significant amount of time. It's too bad. I'm sure I'll regret missing out on this one.
Anyway, best of luck to anyone that's going to bid against me!
