I regeared with 4.30s on my '21 running the ~34" tire. IMO, it is perfect. I just got back from 2500 mile drive to pick up Patriot trailer and the gearing was spot on.

Just chiming in to give my .02 cents

I went with factory 4.30s for my 2016 8-speed. Rear diff from an 02 LX470, front clamshell from a 4.7 tundra. I had to swap over the torque transfer tube, but it was a non issue after a bead of orange FIPG and it was good to go. I was also so very fortunate to have zuk from gearinstalls do the job of installing the eaton E-lockers and refreshing both diffs before going on a year-long hiatus. Both E-lockers are wired to my bantam X S-pod.
