Inviting expressions of interest for reproduction of Upper and Lower Thermostat Housings early type? See pics.
I have enquired to a couple of local Businesses to get Molds made and these Housings Cast and Machined.
Initial process likely to be expensive so wanting to determine what likely demand there is and feedback on what 'Mudders' think would be a fair unit Price?

Here is the Sample unit.
Turned out really well.
Cast using AA601 Aluminium ( Australian Standard - used by Foundry on John Deere Tractor Engine components in the past )
A few minor issues to resolve prior to doing the production run. easily rectified.

To get to this stage has been expensive and time consuming.
If you would like one of these?, P.M. me.
I'm going to order stock amount only for those that have ordered one as I don't intend to carry stock.
Unit Price will be $150 USD.
No, I didn't do the Lower thermostat Housing.

Andy

It would be Cruiser porn for us old timers to see them all lined up together.

Please.

Free bump for another labor of love.

Bump.
Had to order many of these to get them made.
Anyone interested ?

Excellent Job Andy !

Adding the Course Thread studs & Nuts is a suggestion

Try Listing them in the general Classified section ,

also List them in US Dollars , this should help generate interest also

Second @RAGINGMATT idea of kit-ing this to include hardware and gaskets. It won’t add much to the cost, and customers really appreciate the one-stop approach. Heck, you might even owe Matt a  for that one.

That said I’ve never encountered a coarse thread 8mm bolt or nut. They’re all 8x1.25 in my world. While that’s coarse compared to a 1.0, I refrain from calling anything finer than 1.5 as coarse.:meh:

Good advice, thanks.
I've spent enough time and money on this project !
I just want to sell them now .
$170 USD per Unit plus Postage.
P.M. if interested?

OMG. A thing of beauty.

So the top will fit on a later base? A small portion of the mount ear on my top housing is missing :(.

No, the bolt patterns are different.
