OK, I am in the process of trying to develop a small lift for my LX 570. It would lift about 1.5" in the rear and 2.5" in the front.

My question is, how have you guys with lifts centered your rear axles? My LX will be at normal ride height about as high as it currently is in "High" mode.

I notice when I am in the "High" mode the axle is moved to one side. How have you guys centered your rear axles once lifted? Does someone make an adjustable panhard bar?

Thanks,

Paul

Here is one. :D

Brian, something tells me that LX isn't still running the stock AHC.......

If worse comes to worst, I could always fabricate my own adjustable pan hard, just hate to reinvent the wheel.

Also, on the front camber. I believe the UCA's for the LC with standard suspension and the LC with AHC are the same. I'll have to get someone in Europe to check the part numbers though. I will need to get custom springs though, since AHC vehicles use a much lower spring rate I cannot use OME or other aftermarket springs.

Thanks,
Paul

I'll can check with my dealer here.

Thanks for checking for me. This is more of a pet project then necessity.

One big reason that I went with the LX over the LC is service. All Tpyota dealers close to me have less then stellar reviews. However the lexus dealer 1 mile from my office is the best service experience I have ever had. Hell they even give me a free loaner when I take my 97 LX (lifted, locked, and armored). They also treat the 97 like it is made of gold putting down covers for the carpets and plastic covers on the seats as soon as it arrives.

Also, I want to retain the AHC for the ride qualities. I had an RS4 with kW v3 coils and the wife did not approve! She likes the cushy ride of the LX. Being able to drop it down to connect trailers and drive in low garages is great too.

The lift is really to give my tires a little more room and aesthetics. While it gets taken off-road on occasion (see below), I take the 97 LX if it is really bad. I've got 275/60/20 Toyo AT II's on the 570.
