Got a few parts today I think this is the first one I have ever seen in a local salvage yard... leather is bad and he said it drove in but smoked badly... I could not tell the miles but it's a southern rust free and no body damage truck... kinda a shame... I got the drivers side fender & inner fender for $80.25 he gave me a few smalls... interior light lens and the plastic caps that cover the exposed metal

Where is it? Interior color? Mind sharing? Thanks!

grey leather interior NAV no wood trim... he called it a 2002 most of the leather is not good... the dash is nice one window is down so weather is getting in... it was not a well cared for maintained truck in it's last days looked like they lived in it...

Looks like a 2003+. I could use some small parts from it - can you give us a link to the junk yard?

I'd like those tail lights.

How did you find it? Did you just call around your local yards?

I wonder if the tailgate would fit a 98 LC, I put a dent in mine and figure it would be cheaper to replace and paint vs pulling the dent and repainting.

I emailed earlier today and they said no shipping. If someone is local and is willing to grab a few parts for me and ship, please let me know.

Just a heads up... this is a JUNK YARD not a "recycled auto parts yard" small dark office with roaming animals, dogs on chains, it's not "u-pull parts" but I did pull mine and glad i did... or I might still be there... guy there is nice as he can be... but this is a junk yard... one old guy with a hand full of tools is the "parts guy" cars all but touching each other... anyway you get the picture... I would offer to get & ship but it's 40 plus miles one way, it's over 100degrees here and I'm on roofs fixing ac units...

so how exactly does it work? you go in a pull the parts? then pay? I need rims also but would definitely pull as much as I could. I'm far away but for the cash saved in gets parts it would be worth it for a day drive. Any ideas why its there? I don't see any body damage stolen? etc?

:) it's like junk yards use to be... pretty sure no such thing a a price list... dim lit small junked up office no "counter" a few reject chairs from the porch... an old desk... and a guy who is sitting there try'n to figure out if you need the parts more than him... guess that determines the price... It's the norm for me I grew up in that world... the pull a part yards where all taillights are one price if it's a geo or Porsche kinda amaze me...
No idea why it is there I almost offered to buy the whole thing... the interior is shot... but all but no parking lot rash or dings... which around here means it lived in a rural setting.. lots of kids stuff in the truck.. was told it drove in but was smoking... looks as if the last owner lived in it... maybe it was all he/she got in the divorce and they rode it til it died... was kinda sad to look at really...

Might buy some none wear and body parts, and be careful then, but mechanical and electrical parts from someone like these people is totally out of the question.
They start with "I think" or " don't think so". Which means "they don't have a clue". Who ever had it thrashed it pretty good. You buy it it's yours. No matter what you get. If you get anything at all.
