Ranger torque splitter (1 Viewer)

I was just wondering if anyone has used a Ranger Torque Splitter? and what their experience was with it ???

Im planning on using one with a 4bt cummins and was wondering what to expect?

VERY loud when engaged and they go in and out of gear with a great big grinding noise that will make you grimmace. I would reccomend going with a tranny with an overdrive first if you can do it. I did not like my sm465 / ranger setup at all.

It is not anything similar to a larger truck tourque splitter, you are not going to want to be using this all the time, ie trying to make your fourspeed tranny an eight speed. As someone else has stated, invest in a good five-speed(nv4500, may be able to find one from a dodge that was behind the 6bt from 94 and on) That would be money far better spent...In my opinon..
