Raffle Truck workdays in April (1 Viewer)

Ok, we have a few more tasks to wrap up the raffle truck.

This Sunday (4/7/13) we have the lights, turn signals, and carb fan to hook-up and test. We also have a passenger door to hang and an ambulance door latch to install. We can also hook up the heater control valve.

I understand that tires are in, but not sure about the wheels. Perhaps Bart or Tracy can suggest a plan for getting the tires mounted?

Also, can anyone pickup a set of shocks at IPOR for us in the next week or so? There might even be seats for us, depending on timing.

pretty easy to mount the tires ourselves on steel rims. If the rims are powdercoated, which I somewhat remember that they are, then we should prob use a shop to avoid damaging the rims.

They still need to be balanced though. Maybe Timmy at Convenience Car Care would be willing to help us out? I'll check.

I sorted the remaining parts today, everything that needs to be installed is in the bed of the 40, all the extra "treasure" is in the bin and box on the side of the garage. The smog equipment that will go with the truck is in the two long boxes under the table.

Whoever has the air cleaner housing and running boards, please bring them next week.

I have the air cleaner housing. Gave it a thorough cleaning and sanded rusty spots then applied a couple heavy coats of enamel. I'll bring it on Sunday.

I also have the swing-out tire carrier. worked on cleaning it up but man is it rough. It will have a coat of new paint too.

Also have the seat brackets and OEM seats. What is the possibility of new seats from IPOR or other ? I found a local upholstery shop but haven't contacted them yet.

Lance (IPOR) is working on getting us seats. He will also sell us the shocks at cost. We have the funds so I'm going to pull the trigger on that when he gets back to me.

There isn't much we can accomplish this week since missing parts didn't come in. I picked up some missing bolts and screws so I will likely show up around mid-morning to install them and collect my extension cord that I left behind last week.I will not be there until later in the morning due to this being a late nite (note the timestamp on this post).

Hopefully we'll have some parts by next week.
