Hey folks,

I have a Radius airbox on the way for my LS swapped 80. I didn't realize until after I payed, that the filter it uses is not available in the US. It's a Holden Commodore filter that isn't used in any US domestic vehicles.

Has anyone found a locally available filter that would interchange with it? I'd hate to be stuck with a situation that I need to source replacements from Australia.

Thanks
-Rob

I need to know this as well, so I did a bit of research.

These are the alternatives, according to Aiftiler-crossrefence.com

Putting the GM (OEM) filter into Wix and it comes up with a Wix 46913. It is designed for a Holden Adventra 2004-2005 and a Pontiac GTO of the same era. Holden Adventra is an off-road version of the Holden Commodore.

There is a 6913 Napa Gold Air Filter as well.

Filtering filters on Amazon for a 2005 Pontiac GTO comes up with a few filters that look to be the right size.

I might order a few to check and have on hand.

Yeah, the US got Holdens rebadged as a Pontiac GTO/G8, Chevy Caprice, and later Chevy SS. Decently active community with them too; finding filter shouldn't be hard unless it's using some oddball AUSDM-only spec.

Looking to get the Radius air box. Where did you source it from?
I bought it direct from Radius. It took months to arrive and shipping was a fortune. Great parts though!

Directly from them. Shipping was reasonable at first but then they came back for more.... There are one or maybe two US distributors.

I did pick up these air filters from Amazon, pictured on the right, and they look to be a good fit.
