My radio plays but the frequency display does not light up. This seems to be a common problem based on my research. I want a radio as in the picture that is attached below. It need the same plug-socket. Radios with the same face plate did not all have the same plug in the back.

Short of that I need to know what the various wired do in the plug. My manuals do not tell. This wiring a new wiring harness is difficult. A new modern head unit is much more complicated that I anticipated based on previous experience. So, an original working radio is best for me.

I have a radio production date 4/93

Works as far as I know. Should be the same.
