Are there supposed to be bushings of some sort (I'm sure there is) between the radiator support U-channel and the 2 mounts on the frame crossmember?
If so, roughly how thick? Mine didn't have any during teardown and it's time to put it back together.
I searched but no joy.

Thanks!

Mine has a fabric bushing. Looks like a thick piece of nylon webbing. The bolts go right through them. The radiator support sits on the bushing and then on the crossmember mounts. mNot sure if it is stock but it looks like it was designed that way.

I would guess the bushing is a little less than 1/4 inch. I can take a pic if you need one.

My 1977 has flat rubber donuts. You could take a 1/4" thick piece of rubber stock and cut out the donuts. Two per side. Keep up the good work, Bill.

Thanks all. Seems simple enough to make. Finally... a simple project.

Ended up using some old coolant hose. Cut it into a flat sections. Should hold up well. Thanks for all the input.
