Hey guys,

I am looking for radiator for my 92 hzj73 auto. Thats the inline 6 cyl diesel 1HZ.
I found some in saskatoon but they are for standards and don't have the built in oil cooler for the auto transmission. I know I could put an aux oil cooler in but I'd rather have the rad with the cooler built in AND run an aux oil cooler.

I could easily have mine re-cored but I would like to keep it for a spare if I can find one locally (or at least in Canada)

They are readily available from the dealers who supply parts to the mining companies for their trucks, but they are ALL standard.

Anyone know where I can find one? New or used. They seem to be pretty scarce in this neck of the woods.

I'd like to resolve this before my small leak turns into a disaster.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Hi All:

I'd say your choices are fairly limited. Get the existing radiator re-cored, or buy a new standard-transmission radiator and develop a "go-around" for oil cooler.

Good luck!

The 1HZ/auto combo in a 7* series is an uncommon beast outside of Japan.
I would try Dave at Japan4x4.

Or use the manual radiator with a really large tranny cooler

Get the standard radiator. The ATF cooler in the radiator is a liability, and it is best to run a good quality external cooler.
