I replaced my radiator with a Denso unit from Rock Auto this last week. The foam did not remove cleanly from the original so I'm looking for a suitable replacement. I don't know what temps to expect, so I'm not sure if Home Depot foam will work. I tried McMaster Carr and Grainger with poor results. What are you guys using?

I use the walmart $1 floating tubes: Had to cut into proper size, but it works.

How did you attach those? Just cram them in there? I guess I don't have to worry about too much heat.

Fortunately, I used the existing material in my cruiser to the new cruiser with Loctite (Vinyl, fabric and plastic). But for my corolla, I used those walmart floating tubes (aka Worm) to pack the opening between the AC condenser and the radiator. It is doing well for 2 years now.

You can cut it straight and glue it in place.
