Quik Hinges for 40 series

I have been building some take apart style hinges for 40 series Land Cruisers and have them available anytime. I am retailing them for $139/set of four, $199/"super set" of four plus four extra door halves, and $69/set of door halves. I have paypal and direct buy options on my website.

These hinges bolt on in place of factory hinges, they're stronger and re-buildable with common hardware. I built them for my 40 and am sharing them with anyone else who is interested. Toyota only listed one part number as right or left for the whole run of 40's and Bandeirante or any other 40-based variant. (I have updated the door half since the attached photos so that the door mounting pattern has ovaled holes as well) Current finish is Self Etching Grey Primer.

Also, the lower hinges have a slightly longer hinge bolt than the top hinge to facilitate easier door "drop-in".

With Quik Hinges, one can run full doors and switch very quickly to 1/2 or tube doors without damage to the windshield frame paint, or simply run with no doors.

I will be away from the shop for a week to do a week of Air Force Annual Tour, but will fill orders immediately upon my return on the 23rd.

Made it home tonight and will be around for a week or so before going back to pull another five days of annual tour for 2011. I have stock on hand for a few sets of hinges if anyone is interested.

I can possibly deliver hinges to the northern Indiana area when I go back down to Grissom. I also found out that the raffle set that was supposed to go to Rubithon didn't make it. If anyone on the west coast is interested in a free set and doing a detailed installation write-up, contact Tony Twiddy.

Just wanted to say thanks to Matt again.
Here in Utah the weather has been great and I have run no doors most of the time. The problem is I live in an apartment and don't have a place to store my doors. SO on they go each night. With Matt's design this is a snap.

The hinges are smooth and work great. The bushing are solid and actually hold the door from slamming back into me.

For anyone interested, I am gearing up to build another small run of hinges. As soon as my parts supplies provide me the goods I will post up the hinges. The Ambulance door hinges are slowly coming along as well.

For anyone interested, I am working on new tools to speed up build and assembly time to shorten the time between ordering and delivery. I have been building hinges after they are ordered, but am working to have them built in advance for immediate delivery.

Great product!

I received my Quik Hinges yesterday. My xmas gift to my cruiser!

They are great! Super beefy and beautifully made. Hopefully I'll get them coated and installed soon and then I can look forward to next summer when I can just pop the doors on and off.
