Pick up some vibrations over the weekend with my '97 4Runner. My regular tech was closed so I went over to Boch (!) in Norwood. They found the right rear sway bar link broken as well as some other front end issues that might that might need some work. I checked back with Boch for the price of the sway bar link and they want a looney tunes price, some $250. That ain't gonna happen. I'm already looking online for options, but any suggestions would be welcome.

car-part.com.

It's basically an online network of thousands of junkyards that you can search for specific parts and sort by distance. It's a great resource

Yankee Toys members get a 20% discount at Wellesley Toyota.

second that they take good care of us there just ask for Tom or Jim at the parts desk 1-781-318-8022

Holland used parts in Billerica MA. Saw a 98 4Runner there as a clunker which was being parted out. Pristine condition and this place is a pick and pull which means way low prices.

I picked up an ABS sensor for an 80 for 5.00, normally hundreds.

Aftermarket Moog was like $30 at CAP.

How long ago was that? I need the cupholders and rear licence plate holder/latch for my 4runner.

Wow, this is great. I didn't want to call Wellesley after the Boch thing, but I really should call them. I'll look into the other stuff too. And I forgot about Car-Part.com. I have had some luck on Ebay, found several things at good prices.

Rick, have you heard of Jack's Used Cars & Parts in North Billerica? They list a steering rack I'm looking for in A grade condition for just 75 bucks.

I Jack's was the first one I checked out and it was nothing short of dangerous to walk around in there. Cars and other debris just stacked all around.

As far as Holland goes, it was the beginning of Nov that I saw the truck out in the lot coming in.

Millis Used Auto is great and seems very safe. Was just there today

I just got the sway bar links at NAPA in Woburn earlier today. Come with a lifetime warranty and I got some points off by (I'd like to think) wearing a Michael Waltrip cap (NAPA Sponsor) and when the guy remembered to ask me if I had a AAA card, which I did.
