Anybody know how much Monstaliner is needed for just the roof?

A gallon.
Monstaliner website has info on coverage.

Any updates on your monstaliner? How did it go/look.
Thinking of rolling on my 100.

yea kinda confused on what the benefit of monstalining the roof is?

The guys in the hot climates (CA, AZ) paint the roof white to reduce the heat load inside the cruiser. Makes a HUGE difference on the dark colored trucks. Also, since the paint gets baked out there, the clear coats peel off and it's cheap and easy to do Monstaliner.

Not like here in the Midwest, where it's cold, it's hot, it's cold, there's snow, ice, armageddon, then hot.

If the roof of my black 80 ever peels, I will Monstaline it white.

Rolled medium quartz grey monstaliner on my roof four years ago. Took about a gallon.

Really like how it turned out, has not faded, and has held up super.
