Where Should My 2f Be Idleing, Right Now I Am At About 1000rbm Warmed Up, If This Is To High I Would Thin Kthe Idle Screw Would Be The First Place To Start To Bring It Down.
Thanks In Advance For Any Help.

I have the exact same question. i am Idling at 1100 rpm, but what I think is the idle adjust is already backed out. I am turning the screw in front of the carb on an all original 84. Seems like it should be obvious, but I can't get it to slow down.

Thats probably the mixture screw. The idle speed screw is in the back near all the linkage.
You should probably follow this procedure.

thanks, great link

Actually you've probably been loosening the fast idle screw. Once you get your idle dialed in with the screw on the back of the carb, turn on your a/c and then asjust the fast idle back to 1000-1100rpms or so.

Technically, the screw in front is the AC idle up. The fast idle screw is in the rear.

The idle speed screw is also in the rear, but hard to see, which is why most folks end up jacking every other screw on the carb before they give up in frustration.
